Josh Allen proved in Week 1 that he is rightfully the best quarterback in the league and it’s not close. Without what he did in the 4th quarter against the Ravens, the Bills would be 0-1 going into MetLife against the Jets.

Finishing with over 400 total yards and 4 total touchdowns, Allen was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week and will be looking to pick up where he left off last week as he takes on a familiar opponent, the New York Jets. There's no denying that the Jets can give Allen a tough time, because they have done it in the past. Even if the Bills win, Allen usually struggles against the Jets.

As for New York, their defense looked sloppy in their Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, giving up 34 points. They will have some cleaning up to do and Allen has a prime opportunity to embarrass them in front of their fans.

Week 2 prediction could feature Josh Allen running all over Jets

Lou Scataglia from NFL Spin Zone made one bold prediction for each matchup in Week 2 and when it came to the Bills and Jets, Scataglia has “Josh Allen and Justin Fields combining for 200 rushing yards”. Here’s what Scataglia said:

"Both Josh Allen and Justin Fields are elite as runners, and we're going to see each QB do a ton of damage on the ground in Week 2. In fact, the starting quarterbacks in this game will end up combining for at least 200 rushing yards. Buffalo likely wins this game."

It is very possible that we see Allen having to use his legs more than his arm to beat the Jets. New York has always had a tough defense and they have one of the best corners in the league with Sauce Gardners. If Buffalo can’t get separation in the passing attack, it would not be surprising to see Allen taking off from the pocket to make a play.

Now obviously, this also comes with risk because the last thing Bills fans want to see is Allen taking off and taking a big hit. If he can avoid having to use his legs a lot, then things should go smoothly for the Bills offense.
