It took Josh Allen 1 quarter to do something 21 QBs failed to do in a game

Week 1 may have come and gone for the Buffalo Bills, but we will never forget the epic comeback the Bills made to beat the Ravens, 41-40 and start off the season 1-0 at home. After the Bills took an early 7-0 lead, the Ravens dominated the Bills and quite frankly should have never let the Bills stay in the game.

Going into the 4th quarter, the Ravens were leading 34-19. Buffalo had the ball and this was their last chance to fix the mistakes that they had made all game long. Despite being down by 15 points, fans should know better than to doubt Josh Allen, or should I say the reigning MVP from last season.

The Bills played their best football in the 4th quarter but it still took miracles for them to stay in the game. Whether it was on offense or defense, the Bills came up big in the most crucial moments which is what separated the Bills and Ravens in this game.

Allen once again proved why he is the most valuable player to his team than any other player in the NFL. Without him, the Bills don’t win this game let alone stay in it until the very end. The 4th quarter is where we saw superhero Josh Allen lead his team to victory.

Josh Allen recorded one of the most ridiculous stats of Week 1

According to Ari Meirov, Allen “had more passing yards in just the 4th quarter on Sunday night (251) than 21 other quarterbacks had in their entire games this week.” Here’s the post from Meirov:

Overall, Allen finished with 394 yards through the air and added 30 yards on the ground to go with 4 total touchdowns. If that isn’t a performance of a lifetime considering the circumstances he and the Bills had to deal with, I don’t know what is.

We all knew that Josh Allen is a top two quarterback, and he certainly isn’t No. 2 on the list. But for him to put up this kind of stat in just one quarter is absolutely ridiculous. It’s a great thing that the Bills came away with the win because if Buffalo somehow lost this game with Allen putting up these stats, it would just show once again how Allen is being let down by everyone around him.
