It was an unbelievable performance by Josh Allen, who put on an MVP performance for the Buffalo Bills to help the team get their sixth win over the Kansas City Chiefs to move to 6-2 on the year. For the fifth consecutive season, the Bills have beaten the Chiefs in the regular season and now hold the tiebreaker on them.

With their 28-21 win over the Chiefs, Buffalo now has back-to-back wins and has great momentum going forward. Overall, this was a solid complimentary football game for the Bills but Allen was the one that was the biggest difference maker for Buffalo's win.

Josh Allen's MVP performance leads Bills to huge Week 9 win vs. Chiefs

We knew that all eyes were going to be on both quarterbacks, but it was Allen that stood out more than Mahomes. Allen protected the ball better, had better ball placement, and quite frankly, he was the more effective passer. He finished this game completing over 88% of his passes (23/26) for 273 yards and 1 touchdown pass to Dalton Kincaid. He also rushed for 2 touchdowns to help Buffalo get the win.

This is the first time since Week 1 where Allen put the Bills on his back and helped carry them to victory. While James Cook did his part and the defense made some solid stops, it was Allen that was the biggest difference maker in this win.

Buffalo now improves to 6-2 on the year, and has earned two hard fought wins in their last two games. Going into next week’s matchup against Miami, the Bills have to come prepared despite coming off this big win. Allen always has great games against Miami, so he will need to bring this performance down to south beach and sweep the Dolphins.
