It’s game day in Orchard Park today and fans cannot be more excited to see another thrilling chapter between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills have beaten the Chiefs every single regular season since 2021. They will be looking to extend that streak, but we all know that it’s the playoff matchups between these two teams that matter the most.

In the regular season matchups alone, Josh Allen is completing 60% of his passes and averaging over 250 yards and 2 touchdowns per game, per StatMuse. He’s had just one game of 300+ yards against Kansas City, but no matter how great he has been, there’s only been two games where the Bills won by double digits. Meaning, these games usually are back-and-forth for all four quarters.

With how great Josh Allen is and has been throughout his career, it seems like each week he can find himself making a mark within history, whether it’s franchise or overall NFL history. There are many different ways Allen can make some sort of history against the Chiefs today, per the Buffalo Bills' PR X account, and fans will want to pay attention to them.

Josh Allen set to make all sorts of history vs. Chiefs in Week 9

First, if Allen can get one rushing touchdown (which seems very likely), he can pass Cam Newton for the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in both the regular season and the playoffs in NFL history.

Additionally, Allen can become the first quarterback and fourth player in history with atleast 6 rushing touchdowns in each of his first eight seasons along with Jim Brown, Marshall Faulk, and LaDanian Tomlinson. Unreal.

Allen is bound to take off and run the ball himself today, and if he can get 43 rushing yards, he will pass former Bill Joe Cribbs for the fourth-most rushing yards in Bills history.

It’s unbelievable how fast Allen is reaching this kind of history. It just truly shows just how dominant of a dual-threat quarterback he is. He’s putting up statistics that you see in quarterbacks and running backs. It’s phenomenal how we as fans get to witness this kind of greatness. Now he has the chance to make even more history against the team that has bounced him out of the playoffs every year since 2021.
