The Buffalo Bills might have fallen to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday but it wasn't for lack of effort on Josh Allen's end. The Bills franchise quarterback had a monstrous game, scoring six total touchdowns and not denting his MVP chances at all.

Even with Allen's heroic performance, the quarterback took a share of the blame following the game. When speaking to the media, Allen said "I've got to be better for our guys", which is crazy considering what he did on the field.

Josh Allen takes the blame for Bills' loss to Rams

No one is blaming Allen for this loss. In fact, Allen is the reason the Bills had a chance at winning this game and he proved that, even in a loss, he's always going to give this team a chance to win every week. In the past, Allen has been criticized for turning the ball over too much and that's why he was never truly in the MVP conversation.

That has not been the case this year, as Allen has just interceptions through 13 starts. The MVP title feels as good as his assuming he doesn't have multiple awful games in the final month of the regular season.

As for this game, the defensive performance left something to be desired. The defense, which had previously been pretty good, surrendered 44 points and 457 yards of total offense. Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense were able to do whatever they wanted to and picked apart the Buffalo defense all evening long. It was a little concerning but Bills fans know that as long as Josh Allen is leading the way, this team is going to be in games.

The worst part is that the loss dropped Buffalo to being two games behind the Chiefs, who once again found a way to win a game in the final seconds. The Bills have two more losses than Kansas City and now have to win out and hope that the Chiefs lose at least two more games if they want the number one seed in the AFC playoffs.
