The wait is almost over for Bills fans as they are waiting for Monday Night Football. The Buffalo Bills are out west for a battle against the Los Angeles Rams.

These two teams last met in LA two years ago when the Rams beat the Bills, 44-42, even though Josh Allen had 6 total touchdowns. That loss should have never happened, but now Allen will have the chance to get revenge and leave LA with a win to help Buffalo bounce back from their pathetic loss in Week 4 against the New England Patriots.

We can sit here and talk about the main things that the Bills need to do in order to win (which are important), but we all know that it's Josh Allen that is the ultimate x-factor in every game. Yes, he needs the support from time to time, but he is the engine that keeps the Bills rolling.

Josh Allen set to be biggest difference-maker for Bills in Week 5

Allen has played some rough football the last two games, but this is a good setup for a get back game for him. He tends to play some of his best football against the Rams (whether the Bills win or lose), and Monday's matchup should be no different.

He's had time to review what has worked and what hasn't worked the last couple of games. Now it's time to make those adjustments and show a national audience that he and the Bills should not be taken lightly.

In fact, Allen has multiple opportunities to make NFL history against the Rams, per the Buffalo Bills' PR X account, and we are at the point where it would not be surprising to see Allen achieve these accomplishments.

Bills Mafia could see Josh Allen make all kinds of NFL history against Rams

The first set of history includes a win in general, in which if the Bills win, Allen will join Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, and Tom Brady as the only quarterbacks in NFL history to reach 100 career wins in their first 9 seasons (which includes the postseason).

Second, if Allen scores 4+ total touchdowns, he would have the longest streak against in NFL history against an opponent to have that statline. In 2020, Allen scored 5 total touchdowns as the Bills beat the Rams, 35-32. In 2022, Allen had 4 total scores in a dominate 31-10 win over the Rams. Then in 2024, Allen had 6 total touchdowns (3 in the air, 3 on the ground) but the Bills dropped that game despite scoring 42 points.

Finally, if Allen get one touchdown on the ground (which is extremely likely), he will become the first quarterback in history with a rushing touchdown in his team's first 5 games of the season.

Again, are we even surprised to see these setups? It's basically a weekly occurrance with Allen. At the same time, we all know that Allen is about getting the win and that's the ultimate goal.
