After a stunning Week 1 win, the Buffalo Bills are riding high heading to New Jersey to face the New York Jets. With a game like the Bills just went through, there is a potential let down game on the horizon. Especially with a division rival such as the Jets who have given the Bills fits, coming off a loss (albeit an impressive performance) against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Spoiler alert, this is not going to be the case as shown in these 4 bold predictions.

Bills score 30+ points again

As mentioned, the Jets did look impressive offensively, but they still let the Aaron Rodgers led Steelers put up 34 points. With a new head coach in Aaron Glenn, and with the Jets defense not being as formidable as it once was a few years ago, it's going to take some time for them to settle in and be the defense they want to be.

The Bills offense settled in and took over in the 2nd half Sunday night, and that train will continue to roll on going into Week 2.

Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid, and Keon Coleman have 50+ receiving yards each

The Jets defense is still finding its legs. Khalil Shakir is known for being a clutch receiver for Josh Allen, and has given the Jets defense problems in the past. So Shakir having 50+ receiving yards is not that bold. But, having 3 receivers go 50+ is pretty spicy. This is not solely based on what happened in Week 1.

Both Keon Coleman and Dalton Kincaid were impressive both in their Week 1 performances and throughout the summer in training camp. Both Coleman and Kincaid build on week 1 with strong performances by notching 50+ receiving yards each. Besides, the Bills offense is centered around "everybody eats", right?

2 defensive line players record a sack each

This was tough considering I wanted to put Greg Rousseau and Joey Bosa as the 2 players to record a sack each. But, with Ed Oliver dealing with an foot injury and being ruled out for Week 1 per Ian Rapoport, there is a chance one of the rookies in either T.J. Sanders or Deone Walker potentially get their first sack against the Jets.

Both Bosa and Rousseau can make it easier on the young defensive tackles by containing Justin Fields in the pocket so they have more time to use their impressive pass rush moves to get home against Fields.

Josh Allen throws for 300+ yards and 3+ total TDs

There wouldn't be a Buffalo Bills bold prediction article in 2025 without having a prediction where Josh Allen continues his dominance as the reigning NFL MVP. Having Coleman, Kincaid, and Shakir eclipsing 50+ receiving yards means Allen was slinging the ball all over the field, not just those 3 players.

Allen finishes the day with 300+ passing yards and a combination of 3 total touchdowns. If the Jets keep the game close until at least the 4th quarter, Allen will come away with a good day's worth of production.
