It’s officially gameday in Orchard Park where the Buffalo Bills will clash with the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC battle on Sunday Night Football. Kickoff is at 8:20PM EST on NBC and the whole world should be tuning in for this epic battle.
The biggest headline going into this game is the face-off between Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, or should I say two of the best quarterbacks who were in a race for the MVP award last season. Obviously, the award went to the correct player in Allen, but there's no doubt that Jackson was definitely a great candidate.
It’s a new season in Buffalo, and the final one in their current stadium. It’s going to be a season full of emotions and hopefully it ends with the Bills raising the Lombardi trophy in San Francisco. However, it’s a week-to-week schedule and the Bills will be tasked to take down the powerful Ravens.
Throughout this game, there are plenty of Bills who have the chance to make some kind of history, per the Bills’ PR X account.
Josh Allen and multiple Bills set to make different history vs. Ravens
First off, Josh Allen needs just one (that’s right, one!) rushing touchdown to officially pass Thurman Thomas for the most rushing touchdowns in franchise history. Yeah, that shouldn’t be hard to pass at all. In addition, if Allen gets five passing touchdowns he will have passed for 200 touchdowns in his career.
New Bills’ edge rusher Joey Bosa, who signed a one-year deal with Buffalo this past offseason, has the chance to move up from No. 100 to No. 99 on the NFL’s all-time sack list with just one sack. According to the Bills’ PR, Bosa getting one sack would tie him at No. 99 with Rob Burnett, who played with the Browns, Ravens, and Dolphins.
Tight end Dawson Knox, who has been one of Allen’s go-to targets since 2019, has the chance to tie Pete Metzelaars and Peerless Price for the 10th most receiving touchdowns in Bills history.
Get ready, Bills Mafia. It’s almost game time in Orchard Park and we can’t wait for it.
