The Buffalo Bills have officially signed star pass rusher Joey Bosa which has been confirmed. The Bills and Bosa agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth $12.6 million earlier this week and he is now officially a member of the Bills.

Bosa is replacing Von Miller as the veteran edge rusher for their defensive line. Coming from Los Angeles, Bosa has always been a ferocious player and can cause havoc by himself. In nine years with the Chargers, he’s had 10+ sacks in four seasons and five seasons of 20+ QB hits. There’s no doubt that he can pressure the quarterback.

Now it’s just a matter of him staying healthy, which has been a challenge the last three years (having played just 28 regular season games during that time). The Bills are taking a little bit of a risk with the injury history, but Bosa is too talented to pass up on. Adding him to go with Greg Rousseau, A.J. Epenesa, newly-signed Michael Hoecht, and Javon Solomon, Bosa adds that scary edge presence that the Bills need to get them over the hump.

Bosa spoke with the media following his official signing to the team and during his press conference, he mentioned that MVP quarterback Josh Allen texted him and said “if we do what we set out to do, we can be immortalized in this town”, per Sal Capaccio.

Josh Allen and Joey Bosa have fantastic chance at becoming legends in Buffalo

The Bills are so close to reaching the Super Bowl. They have been ever since the 2020 season. They’ve been to the AFC championship game twice since then and have continuously won the AFC East year in and year out. Bosa hasn’t had the chance to win a division championship and has only been to the playoffs three times, only going as far as the divisional round back in 2018.

Now you pair Bosa with a Bills team that is true Super Bowl contender and that can create a massive chance of the Bills going further than what they have recently. It would be a fantastic feeling to see Allen and Bosa being the duo that can bring the Bills to the Super Bowl, and then even being the main reasons why Buffalo is raising the Lombardi trophy at the end of the game.

Bringing the Lombardi trophy to Western New York is the main goal and Bosa is joining a perfect situation of being part of the team that can deliver Buffalo’s first Super Bowl in franchise history.
