It seems like every week we are waiting for some breaking news about Josh Allen and how he continues to make history. This could be within the Bills history or within the NFL as a whole. One of the reasons why he has been able to set records and solidify himself into history is because of the way he plays.

We all know that he can chuck the ball 80 yards down the field, but he is one of the few dual-threat quarterbacks where he can throw it and utilize his legs to make a defense pay. His ability to scramble out of the pocket has benefited the Bills throughout his career. However, he also helps in short-yardage situations where the Bills just need a yard or two, or even get into the endzone.

After the Rams took an early 7-0 lead, Josh Allen the Bills offense took the field and drove it down all the way for a Josh Allen rushing touchdown to put the Bills on the board. Buffalo was stopped once on their QB sneak, but then they converted on the second time. That score not only put the Bills up on the board, but it marked Allen’s 60th career rushing touchdown which he and only former Panthers/Patriots quarterback Cam Newton have accomplished.

Josh Allen continues to solidify himself into NFL history

Are we even surprised to see Allen continue to make this kind of history? Well if you are, you shouldn’t be. Allen is expected to keep on breaking records and rewriting the history books and he still has atleast five years left in his prime. Pretty soon, he will be starting to place himself at the top of various record books in both franchise history and NFL history.

However, Allen has never been about individual success, only whether or not the Bills finish with a win. That’s what makes Allen a true leader. Allen and the Bills are looking to leave Los Angeles with a win over the Rams, but it won't be an easy task as the Rams are looking to stay alive within the NFC West.
