Week 8 has officially arrived for the Buffalo Bills and they are entering a hostile environment in Seattle. Both the Bills and Seahawks are leading their respective divisions, which is a great setup for what should be a fantastic out-of-conference matchup. The last time these two teams faced off against each other, it was a high-scoring affair that ended in a 44-34 win for the Bills.

Both teams look a lot different compared to the last time they faced off. However, this shouldn’t be short of a great game in the 4PM ET window. We learned earlier this week that Seahawks’ star wide receiver DK Metcalf is doubtful to play after suffering a knee injury in Week 7. Losing Metcalf, who leads the Seahawks in receiving yards and touchdowns, would be a major setback for the offense.

If Metcalf is not able to go, players like Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba will need to step up to support Geno Smith.

Former Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood, who was a fan favorite for many years, has a Centered on Buffalo podcast, and Wood was able to speak with former Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate about this upcoming matchup.

During the podcast, Wood asked Tate for his “expert analysis” about this game and Tate talked about how if he “had to put his money down”, Tate would choose the Bills. Tate also mentioned how Metcalf’s presence is so special and with him possibly being out, the Bills would have a massive advantage. Tate also mentioned how the Bills are playing great football and how it is hard to go against them.

Golden Tate knows how great the Bills are despite being the visitors

The Bills only have two road wins this year, both coming within the division against the Dolphins and Jets (and both have losing records). They are walking into a stadium that has a fanbase that is rowdy and can serve as a true 12th man. At the same time, the Seahawks haven’t faced a quarterback like Josh Allen this year so it will be a good test for both sides.
