It’s going to be another great week for the Buffalo Bills and their fans as they can enjoy a 39-34 win over Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. With this win, the Bills move to 9-4 on the season, send Cincinnati down to 4-9, and Buffalo has momentum going into a two-week road trip against New England and Cleveland.
While the Bills came alive in the 4th quarter, it took them awhile to get things going and at one point, it looked like it was just going to be another heartbreaker for them.
Part of the reason why was the wide receiver room and the lack of separation that was affecting the offense. There was a play where Allen held the ball for nearly 10 seconds in the pocket, completely unbothered and yet it turned into an incompletion instead of a big play.
Buffalo has a wide receiver problem. While it’s too late to fix it now, Brandon Beane has to fix the problem in the offseason and a former Bills player who played for the Bills when Beane had first arrived made it clear as well.
LeSean McCoy says what all Bills fans have been saying all along
During the game, LeSean McCoy, who spent 2015-2019 with the Bills, posted on X that the Bills need to do something to get Josh Allen some help. McCoy specifically put “It’s unbelievable the things JOSH ALLEN has to do for his offense to get busy…BRANDON BEAN(GM) next year get him some WR please”.

The Bills reportedly tried to trade for Jaylen Waddle at the trade deadline, but they couldn’t get a deal done with the Miami Dolphins. Then they signed Mecole Hardman, and he was placed on the IR after one game. After that, the Bills signed Brandin Cooks to the active roster.
Buffalo will go with what they have for now, but it may not be enough as December and January roll on. The hope right now for the Bills is that they make the playoffs because right now, them winning the AFC East looks highly unlikely.
