Wide receiver D.J. Moore is officially a member of the Buffalo Bills, and fans couldn’t be more excited. The Bills traded for Moore in a trade with the Bears and now Josh Allen will have his go-to receiver in the offense. In addition to Moore getting the chance to catch passes from Allen, he will reunite with Bills head coach Joe Brady, who was Moore’s offensive coordinator in Carolina.
While Moore shouldn’t be the last wide receiver move the Bills make, he is a great start to revamping the room. Now that he is officially a member of the team, Moore spoke with the media on Thursday and talked about various topics. One topic he talked about was Josh Allen and becoming a member of this offense.
Bills team reporter Maddy Glab reported that Moore showed excitement about not just Bills Mafia, but also playing Josh Allen and being part of the offense overall. According to Glab, per Moore, he called Allen "a field general" and Moore also said that he is "looking forward to being a part of the offense."

D.J. Moore is spot on with comments about Josh Allen
Allen isn’t just one of, if not the best player in football, but he is highly respected across the league. Without him, the Bills wouldn’t be who they are. Since 2020, Allen has been a consistent MVP candidate and he has brought the Bills to new levels compared to where they were prior to him arriving.
He sets franchise records, he creates new NFL records, he throws for touchdowns, he runs for touchdowns, and he even catches passes for touchdowns. He can do it all.
He has carried the Bills on his back in many games to the point where fans sometimes are hoping that he becomes Superman. Now with the addition of Moore into the passing game, that should take some pressure off of Allen.
Moore has reached over 1,000 yards in four seasons of his career, including twice with Brady back in Carolina. The familiarity with Brady should help Moore not just adjust quickly to the offense, but also thrive. It also happens when you have a strong-armed quarterback like Allen to get you the ball.
Who knows, maybe this Allen-Moore pairing will have similar results like the duo of Allen and Stefon Diggs had from 2020-2023. All we can do is wait and see, but getting Moore is a huge addition to this offense.
