We've known for a while now that the Bills and Patriots' Week 5 game would be a "rivalry" game, featuring a new jersey from Nike. Now, we finally get to see just what the Bills' rivalry jerseys will look like.

The 'Cold Front' jerseys, inspired by Buffalo's rigid winter atmosphere, are all white with grey lettering. They are reminiscent of a blizzard, with the white and gray blending together seamlessly.

"The clear choice was to celebrate our region's climate, especially when it comes to later in the season," said Aaron LaPorta, the Bills Director of Design.

Bills' 'Cold Front' jerseys set to debut vs. Patriots in perfect matchup

While it might have made more sense to debut the jerseys later in the season, perhaps at a game where there might actually be snow coming down in Buffalo, the Bills' choice to wear the jerseys against the Patriots also makes sense.

New England and Buffalo have been rivals for a while now, and with the Patriots featuring an upstart roster, they will be looking to gain the edge on the Bills this year. New England played the Bills close last year, so any upper hand the Bills can get will be much needed.

Perhaps the 'Cold Front' jerseys will inspire Buffalo to play its best brand of football against its rival Patriots. Perhaps they will get into the heads of the Patriots, who might be distracted by the snowstorm-themed lettering. At the very least, the rivalry-themed matchup should fire up fans and help add to Buffalo's home-field advantage in the showdown.

The Bills will only wear the 'Cold Front' jersey's once a year, so if fans want the chance to see them live and in action, Week 5 is the only chance they will get until atleast 2026.
