Within the hour of the new league year beginning in the NFL, Bills fans didn’t have to wait long for Brandon Beane to make his first big signing. Buffalo signed pass rusher Bradley Chubb to a three-year deal that will keep him in the AFC East and join a contender with the Bills. With a new defensive coordinator in Jim Leonhard, the Bills needed to bring in an edge rusher and Chubb is a very solid signing.

Chubb didn’t wait long after to express his excitement to play in front of Bills Mafia, and now he continues to talk to fans about what he wants to accomplish as a member of the Bills.

Bradley Chubb delivers one simple message to Bills Mafia (and fans are fired up)

After signing his contract with the Bills, Chubb sat down with Bills reporter Maddy Glab and talked about the opportunity to sign with the Bills in which Chubb talked about the winning culture and how dominant that Buffalo has been since he was traded to the AFC East with the Miami Dolphins.

Chubb then looked right at the camera and said four simple, yet thrilling words; “Bills Mafia, let’s win!”

The signing of Chubb is what the Bills needed to do. They have been one of the more quiet teams in free agency for various reasons. However, fans were looking for that splash that Beane tends to pull off. Chubb is the third notable veteran pass rusher that Beane has signed.

Beane also signed Von Miller in 2022 and Joey Bosa in 2025. Chubb will now take over the role as an outside linebacker in Leonhard’s 3-4 defensive scheme. If he can stay on the field, Chubb should be a game-wrecker for this defense. While he was in Miami, he caused problems for the Bills at times. Now, he gets the chance to chase down other quarterbacks.

Not to mention, having him staying in the division to get the chance to take down Miami twice a year is a sweet deal for Bills fans. There is no love lost between Buffalo and Miami, and now the Bills get stronger while the Dolphins got weaker with releasing Chubb.

It is great to see Chubb excited to not just play in Buffalo, but play in front of a passionate fanbase like Bills Mafia. He could very well become a fan-favorite immediately if he makes an early-on impact for this new-look defense under Leonhard.
