The Buffalo Bills made a bit of an early free agency signing once the new league year opened by signing pass rusher Bradley Chubb to a three-year deal, where he should become the replacement for Joey Bosa in Jim Leonhard’s new defense. Chubb is coming from the Miami Dolphins, where he has been since 2022.

Chubb has over 300 career total tackles to go with 48 sacks and 15 forced fumbles. Since being drafted in 2018 by the Denver Broncos, Chubb has always been a solid pass rusher but injuries have played a factor in his career. He missed the 2024 season with a torn ACL that he suffered late in 2023, and he also played in just four games back in 2019 due to another torn ACL.

Now granted, those injuries aren’t super recent but it can still be concerning. Nonetheless, Chubb can get to the quarterback and with the price that the Bills got him at, it was a solid pickup for Buffalo.

Not too long after the news broke about Chubb signing with the Bills, he took to Instagram to shoutout Bills Mafia, per Ryan Talbot.

Bradley Chubb is excited to join Bills and play in front of Bills Mafia

If you don’t know by now, the Bills have an extremely passionate fanbase who show up no matter what the weather is. Whether it’s sunny, rainy, or dealing with feet of snow, Bills Mafia always shows up and they are huge supporters of the Bills.

They travel well and they even help shovel out the aisles and seats in the stadium when there is a ton of snow. Players across the league know that Bills Mafia is a big fanbase and that they give their everything to support the team.

To see Chubb shoutout specifically the Bills Mafia is very cool to see and he should have no issue fitting in right away when he hits the field later in the summer. Not only does he join the Bills, but he does so coming from a division rival and will now get the chance at some revenge against them.

There is no lost love between Buffalo and Miami, and now the Bills get a player who knows the Dolphins and will have the chance to cause havoc against them for the next three seasons. Bradley Chubb, welcome to Buffalo.
