Prior to their Week 7 bye, the Buffalo Bills had a laundry list of names on their injury report. For Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens, things are notably improved. Still, an injury report is rarely good to look at, and this is no exception.

There's plenty to cover, despite the Bye Week, and some names were added without playing a game. Let's get into Week 8's final injury report for the Bills, per the Bills' PR team.

Game Status: QUESTIONABLE

Dee Alford returned from his ankle injury in Week 6 after some missed action, and was quietly effective. The expectation would be a more complete recovery after a bye week, but the answer is less simple.

Alford missed practice on Thursday and Friday after a limited Wednesday appearance. That record doesn't bode well, but for now he's questionable.

Game Status: QUESTIONABLE

After losing most of Week 5 to his early-game back injury, Spencer Brown bounced back for Week 6 and had no injury designation on gameday. However, his back injury against the Rams is clearly still affecting him.

Brown was unable to participate in practice on Wednesday or Thursday, but did get on the field in a limited capacity on Friday. He's questionable for gameday, 20 days after his initial injury.

OLB Bradley Chubb - Chest/Thumb

Game Status: QUESTIONABLE

Greg Gaines has been quietly effective for the Bills, so his Friday addition to the report with a calf injury is an unfortunate surprise. He's questionable for gameday following his late-week practice injury.

TE Dalton Kincaid - Chest

Game Status: QUESTIONABLE

In the same breadth as Bradley Chubb, Dalton Kincaid also suffered a mid-game chest injury against the Raiders and was cleared to return.

His participation in practice this week was limited as a result, but a Bye Week hopefully accelerated his recovery. Still, Kincaid's questionable status is far from ideal.

WR D.J. Moore - Shoulder

Game Status: QUESTIONABLE

After the reaggravation of his Week 2 shoulder injury sidelined D.J. Moore for Week 5 and 6, he practiced in a limited capacity for much of Week 8. The Bills’ passing game found unconventional success in his absence, but needs him on the field to play at their best.

Though he was questionable for Week 6, the Bills opted to rest him into the bye week. Following his rest, DJ Moore was limited in practice all week and remains questionable for Sunday.

DL Ed Oliver - Knee

Game Status: AVAILABLE

Though the Buffalo Bills have seen good DL play in Ed Oliver's absence, he's still one of the NFL's more notable interior rushers. Getting him on the field, working with Deone Walker, T.J. Sanders, and the others would be a massive gain.

His injury issues this season have been significant, but he ticked up throughout Week 8. Now, Oliver returns to the field with no status for game day.

OLB TJ Parker - Knee

After missing no time following his rib injury from Week 5, TJ Parker is back with a new injury. His knee issue, appearing now for the first time, has limited him in practice this week. On Friday, Parker returned to full practice and is questionable for this weekend.

Ar'Maj Reed-Adams has been dealing with an elbow injury all season, but it's hardly affected his availability. Adding to that this week, a back injury has cropped up after the bye week.

T.J. Sanders picked up his shoulder injury during his Week 5 season debut. It didn't keep him off the field for Week 6, and his recovery continues to be managed.

WR Tyrell Shavers - Knee

Game Status: OUT - Injured Reserve

The Buffalo Bills lost Tyrell Shavers to a torn ACL in January, and his return is on schedule. The former-UDFA had his return to practice window opened this week. That action gives the team three weeks to either activate him to the 53-man roster, put him on season-ending injured reserve, or remove him in some other way.

Shavers was quickly becoming a trusted target for Josh Allen late in the 2025 season. A potential return from him this season could be a lift for a WR core that needs it. With his window just opened, it's no surprise to see him inactive for now.

Bills Injury Report Summary

On this Week 8 injury report, the Bills have six players on the roster with a gameday status. DL Greg Gaines was a surprise addition, but his potential absence is limited by the return of Ed Oliver.

CB Dee Alford, too, is surpising to see struggle in practice this week. Still, the team does have bodies at safety and linebacker to fill in if needed for Sunday. OLB TJ Parker is another name to watch. He's been solid this season, in a limited capacity; Losing a young and athletic edge against Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry would be notable.

On offense, things are no easier. RT Spencer Brown missed almost all of this week, and his questionable designation is impactful. TE Dalton Kincaid also hitting the injury report like this could alter the game.

Lastly, the potential return of WR DJ Moore. His shoulder injury has derailed his season, and Buffalo clearly doesn't want to rush him back. Regardless, Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens could have major playoff implications.
