Kickoff approaches, as the Buffalo Bills visit the Las Vegas Raiders for Week 6. The injury reports are squared away and the practice squad elevations are posted. All that's left to do is break it all down for the final inactives.

Injury Report

The Bills injury report once again featured 15 names. Of those, only five had a game status; All questionable to play.

Dee Alford was ramping up after missing Week 5 with an ankle injury. His return would be unexpected but not unwelcome.

D.J. Moore has been discussed as a sit candidate to allow for a full recovery through the bye week. He is joined by fellow WR Joshua Palmer, both of whom missed Week 5.

Ed Oliver, too, missed Week 5, and is joined on the report by T.J. Sanders. Both are impactful players who could make a mark on this game.

Practice Squad Callups

The Bills have used two practice squad elevations in all their games this season, but no longer. Buffalo has made no callups from the PS this week, despite the extensive injury report.

With questionable status for both DL Ed Oliver and T.J. Sanders, the team opted not to call up a DL to fill the gap. The same seems to go for WRs Joshua Palmer and D.J. Moore, or NCB Dee Alford.

Though surprising, it may bode well for today.

Final Inactives for Gameday

The Buffalo Bills are prepared for the early bye week, but they must beat the Raiders first to get there. The final box to check before kickoff, the final inactives are here, per the Bills PR team.

-WR D.J. Moore
-OLB Mike Danna
-OL Ar'maj Reed-Adams
-OL Jude Bowry
-DL Ed Oliver

Inactives Breakdown

D.J. Moore does not get the nod, but Joshua Palmer returns from a one-game absence to help stretch the field. Buffalo choosing to rest Moore and give him a long recovery through the bye week is the sensible choice. However, playing without him does still have complications.

The Bills will remain without Ed Oliver for now. Landon Jackson, however, comes back to action. Against a spotty Raiders pass protection unit, that should be enough to wreak havoc.

Lastly, Dee Alford comes back to the fray. The hole he left in the secondary was notable, and his return should be impactful. Ideally, he keeps the backup off the field and locks down the nickel spot.
