Kickoff from Ford Field is almost here where we have the game of the week between the Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills. The Lions haven’t lost since Week 2 and the Bills suffered their first last week since Week 5. Both teams are at the top of league in terms of high-scoring offenses and there’s no reason why this should come up short of an electrifying game.
The Bills are getting healthier at the perfect time. They’ve been dealing with injuries all across the team throuhgout the season and we’ve already learned that Rasul Douglas and Tylan Grable are officially ruled out this week.
However, the Bills were given great news surrounding rookie wideout Keon Coleman as he prepares to make his return from his wrist injury he suffered in Week 9 against Miami. The Bills’ offense has produced nicely without Coleman, but having him back in the lineup should allow Joe Brady to open up the playbook.
For the first time since Week 10, Dalton Kincaid will be out on the field for the Bills after hurting his knee against the Colts. While the offense gets healthier, the secondary on the defense is severely banged up.
The Bills will be without Taylor Rapp and Damar Hamlin in the backend of the defense, along with Rasul Douglas already being out. Detroit’s wide receivers should be lickig their chops going up against Buffalo’s backups.
Bills vs Lions Final Inactives List
Bills Inactives:
-CB Rasul Douglas
-QB Mike White
-S Damar Hamlin
-S Taylor Rapp
-LB Edefuan Ulofoshio
-DT Quinton Jefferson
-DE Casey Toohill
The Bills ruled out Quinton Jefferson which should allow Jordan Phillips to be in the middle of the trenches to help stop the Lions’ ferocious rushing attack. While the run-defense gets some sort of improvement, the pass-defense is in for a world of trouble. We might be seeing a lot of Kareem Jackson and Cole Bishop in centerfield.
Lions inactives:
-CB Emmanuel Moseley
-LB Trevor Nowaske
-OL Giovanni Manu
-DL Myles Adams
-OL Kayode Awosika
-OL Colby Sorsdal
-DL Brodric Martin
Detroit doesn't have any major missing pieces, giving them an advantage over Buffalo.
