Buffalo Bills Friday Injury Report: Rasul Douglas, Keon Coleman, Dalton Kincaid
By Brandon Ray
The Friday injury report for the Buffalo Bills has given us some answers on the status of multiple players. Not a week goes by without the Bills losing one of their key starters for an upcoming game and Week 15 against the Detroit Lions will be no different.
According to Maddy Glab, per Sean McDermott, cornerback Rasul Douglas will not play this Sunday against the Lions. Douglas suffered a knee injury last week against the Rams and the Bills are keeping him out against a tough Lions offense. Douglas had a rough game last week in LA with multiple penalties.
Sean McDermott will now have to decide between Ja’Marcus Ingram and Kaiir Elam to play opposite of Christian Benford. While the secondary takes a little bit of a hit, the offense for Buffalo should get some key playmakers back in the lineup.
Wide receiver Keon Coleman, who has missed action since Week 10, will make his return from his wrist injury that he suffered in Week 9. In addition, Dalton Kincaid who has been out since Week 11 is questionable for this Sunday but he practiced this week which gives him a good chance to finally play.
Bills offense is starting to heal up
The Bills have four games remaining and they need all the help they can get for the playoffs. Injuries always seem to find their way onto the Bills roster and the worst time. Getting some offensive help back for Josh Allen is going to be very beneficial going up against a Detroit offense that can light up the scoreboard themselves.
As far as the defense, Buffalo’s secondary has a tough task to defend a Lions’ receiving core and being down Douglas is going to hurt. Facing off against players like Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and Sam LaPorta is already tough as it is. Now Bills fans will to have to depend on somelike Kaiir Elam or Ja’Marcus Ingram.
