The NFL Draft has come and gone and for anyone that closely paid attention to it, they know that the Buffalo Bills came out as big time winners. Going into the first round on Thursday night, the Bills had just seven picks but were missing out on a second round pick. Brandon Beane turned that setup into ten total selections with multiple trade downs, and he even gained a 2027 7th-round pick as well.

Not to mention, the Bills also addressed every major need and now their roster is much better than it was going into the draft. Now they have to go back to the free agent market and see where they could make more additions to keep filling out the roster.

Six out of Buffalo’s ten picks were on defense, showing what the front office prioritized and no one should be surprised. Buffalo’s defense has been the team’s biggest liability and for the second consecutive year, they are addressing that side of the ball more.

Two of their picks were at cornerback, where they selected Davison Igbinosun out of Ohio State and Toriano Pride Jr. out of Missouri. Brandon Beane talked about how he believed that cornerback was the biggest need for the Bills and that is why Buffalo ended up taking two corners with one of them being in the second round.

Even with Buffalo adding depth at cornerback, their next big move post-draft should be looking to bring back a fan-favorite.

Bills' next major move post-NFL Draft is to bring back CB Tre'Davious White

Prior to the draft, Brandon Beane talked about how the Bills would not be closing the door on a potential reunion with White, who came back to Buffalo in 2025 after spending the 2024 season with the Rams and Ravens. Two major injuries in 2021 and 2023 ended his first tenure with the Bills, but then he bounced back last season.

With the Bills still needing to fill out the depth chart at cornerback, it makes complete sense for them to bring back White for this third go-around with the team. He played like the best corner on the team at one point last season. Even with him leaving his prime, he still has solid football left in him and at the very least, he could be a mentor to the two rookies that were just drafted.

It’s very obvious to fans that bringing back White is a necessary move and the Bills should move to make it happen sooner than later.
