When the news broke that the Buffalo Bills had fired Sean McDermott after their playoff exit, fans knew that changes were coming. When a GM or head coach gets fired, there are typically a good amount of changes. Up to this point, there have been numerous changes when you look at the roster and there could be plenty more to come (especially with the NFL Draft coming up this week).
With some of the changes, there have been some fan-favorite players that the Bills had for a little bit of time that are no longer on the roster. Whether it was because of expiring contracts or getting released/traded, Buffalo’s roster looks a bit different. However, Brandon Beane did talk about one specific player that he is not closing the door on with a potential reunion.
Beane spoke with the media yesterday and he talked about cornerback Tre'Davious White and how "you'd never close the door on bringing a guy like that back to Buffalo" per Matthew Bove.

Brandon Beane is not ruling out potential Tre'Davious White return to Bills
With Buffalo needing more depth at cornerback, bringing White back is not a bad idea at all. Not to mention, White was arguably the Bills’ best corner at times throughout last season. While his prime is behind him, he certainly still has some good football left in him. The fact that he is not signed anywhere else should give fans hope that maybe a potentially second reunion could happen.
White was brought back by Buffalo last offseason right before the draft, but it doesn’t look like that will happen again. Maybe something can occur after the draft, but that will depend on the direction that the Bills take this coming week.
White has been a fan-favorite for a long time. He was a lockdown corner at one point early on in his career, but then two major injuries in 2021 and 2023 limited his game and after spending the 2024 season with the Rams and Ravens, he came back to Buffalo.
A second reunion between the Bills and White would not be surprising at all for many factors. With Buffalo having limited draft picks and having a ton of needs on defense to fill, White may have a good chance at coming back to the organization to run it back for atleast one more season.
