Bills fans may have just learned how serious Keon Colemnan's wrist injury is

In a thriller victory last week against the Miami Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills secured their fourth consecutive win to push them to 7-2. However, they unfortunately had to go through an unfortunate event late in the 4th quarter that got them into field goal range to set up Tyler Bass.

Tied at 27-27 with the Dolphins, the Buffalo offense was looking to drive it down the field to get a game-winning field goal. However, they got that opportunity through an unnecessary roughness penalty that was committed by former Bill and current Dolphins safety Jordan Poyer on wide receiver Coleman.

Poyer led with his head and went to go in to make a tackle on Coleman on a jump ball and Poyer’s head connected with Coleman’s wrist which sidelined him for the rest of the game. Throughout this past week, it was heavily rumored that Coleman was definitely going to miss this Week 10 game against the Indianapolis Colts, but we may have just learned how serious Coleman’s wrist injury is.

Keon Coleman may be out for multiple weeks beyond Week 10

Bills beat reporter Joe Buscaglia hosted a Q&A where fans can ask Buscaglia questions about various topics about the Bills and there was a questioned asked about Coleman’s injury and when he may potentially return. Buscaglia replied by saying that there is a good chance that Coleman doesn’t return until after Buffalo’s bye week.

Whether it is to make sure that Coleman is fully ready to go for the last month of the season or if the wrist injury is more serious than we though, not having Coleman for the next two games is going to the Bills offense. Not to mention, his teammate Amari Cooper is also dealing with a wrist injury himself so Buffalo is now down multiple starters on offense with the same injury.

After this week, the Bills are going back to Orchard Park to host the Kansas City Chiefs. Now it is unlikely to see a Keon Coleman vs. Xavier Worthy matchup in Buffalo next week.
