We are five days away from the first round of the NFL Draft and Bills fans are curious to see what Brandon Beane will do in the first round. Buffalo currently has seven draft picks, but they don’t have a second rounder so after their No. 26 pick, they won’t be scheduled to pick until late in the third round at No. 91. That is quite the wait time.

Despite being a Super Bowl contender, the Bills have a ton of holes to fill whether it’s at the starter level or even just bringing in depth. On offense, their biggest need is at wide receiver but the acquisition of D.J. Moore did take some pressure off. However, that should not be their only addition to the room.

On defense, there is going to be a brand new scheme under Jim Leonhard and the Bills have needs at EDGE, linebacker, and even corner as far as depth wise.

The direction that Beane leans towards in the first round will be interesting, but in NFL.com’s Chad Reuter’s recent mock draft, the Bills take a direction that fans see Buffalo not overthinking the pick.

Bills go in a direction that fans would not be surprised about in NFL mock draft

In Reuter’s mock draft, the Bills stay at No. 26 rather than trade back and select Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion.

"When it comes to improving the Bills' lackluster receiving corps, trading for DJ Moore was a nice first step. Adding Concepcion's ability to make plays after the catch puts a big smile on Josh Allen's face heading into training camp." said Reuter.

Concepcion was born in Rochester, NY and he told the media that he grew up watching the Bills because his dad is a fan of the team. That itself should have Bills fans excited if Buffalo does indeed draft him.

On the production side of things, Concepcion was very productive in two out of his three seasons in college. In 2023 where he was with NC State, Concepcion had 839 yards and 10 touchdowns. Then in 2025 when he transferred to Texas A&M, Concepcion finished with 919 yards and 9 touchdowns.

He is great with separation against defenders and can bring an element to Buffalo's offense that they haven't had in two seasons. If Concepcion is on the board by the time the Bills are on the clock in the first round, he would be a solid addition to the receiving core and have the chance to develop with D.J. Moore leading the way.

Granted, no one should be upset if the Bills trade out either. However, taking Concepcion would be a no-brainer move if he's available.
