In less than a week, the Buffalo Bills will be getting ready for the first night of the NFL Draft and they will start their draft at No. 26, assuming that they don’t trade up or trade down. Things will really start to heat from now until next Thursday and anything can happen, which includes possible trades and a bunch of rumors.

As the draft rapidly approaches, we have put together a 7-round mock draft that inclues one tiny trade involving the Bills, where they manage to stay in the first round but they pick up a mid-round pick.

Round 1, #28 (via Houston): KC Concepcion - WR, Texas A&M

*Bills acquire: No. 28, No. 104

*Texans acquire: No. 26, No. 220

In this mock trade, the Bills trade back two spots with the Houston Texans, where Buffalo sends picks No. 26 and No. 220 in exchange for No. 28 and No. 104. However, the Bills still manage to draft Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion, who is just a perfect fit for what the Bills’ offense needs.

He was born in Rochester, NY and he watched the Bills growing up as his dad was a fan of the team. He has great separation ability and with D.J. Moore already being the No. 1 WR for Josh Allen, that gives Concepcion a chance to make more of an impact as he won’t need to be a go-to receiver.

Round 3, #91: Derrick Moore - EDGE, Michigan

Now that Greg Rousseau is moving to outside linebacker, the Bills are going to need to draft an edge rusher or two at some point, and they grab Michigan edge rusher Derrick Moore, who is coming off a ten sack season with the Wolverines.

He’s a true edge rusher rather than run-stopper, so the Bills will be able to utilize him coming off the edge to collapse the pocket against the pass.

Round 4, #104: (via Houston): Tacario Davis - CB, Washington

In the mock trade with Houston, the Bills are back on the clock at No. 104 and they get Tacario Davis out of Washington, who has great size and can be a solid rotational player in the secondary. Buffalo needs to add depth at this position, and Davis gives them that.

Round 4, #126: Harold Perkins Jr., - LB, LSU

Harold Perkins Jr. is an intriguing pick here for the Bills. He is a run-stopper who has shown to have a good eye for where the ball is going before the play develops. He did tear his ACL back in 2024, but he bounced back with a solid season with the Tigers last season. He wouldn’t need to start, but he would be a solid option as a starter moving forward after 2026.

Round 5, #165 (via Chicago): Travis Burke - OT, Memphis

Standing at 6-foot-9, Travis Burke would immediately compete for a roster spot, even as a potential swing tackle in this offense. He has experience at left and right tackles, and he earned First-Team All-American Athletic Conference honors last season. The Bills bring in quality depth with Burke.

Round 5, #168: Nick Barrett - DT, South Carolina

Everyone knows that the Bills heavily struggled to stop the run last season. While there is hope that it will improve in 2026 under Jim Leonhard, the Bills shouldn’t ignore drafting a run-stuffing defensive tackle, especially someone like Nick Barrett out of South Carolina.

Barrett is great at taking on double blocks and while that doesn’t count on the stat sheet, him taking on those blocks leaves a lane open for someone to make a play.

Round 6, #182 (via Las Vegas): Anez Cooper - OG, Miami (FL)

Since the Bills traded their 7th round pick to the Texans in the mock trade, this would be their last pick of the draft and they use it on more offensive line depth. With the departure of David Edwards in free agency, the Bills may bring in more competition for the left guard spot.

Even with the re-signing of Alec Anderson and also bringing in Austin Corbett, you can never have too much competition for the summer.
