For the fourth time in five seasons, the Buffalo Bills' season ended in the exact same way. Despite a tremendous showing from Josh Allen, the squad lost to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs once again and head into the offseason with a painful loss fresh in their memory.

Buffalo will try to figure out where everything went wrong and restock their cupboards as they make yet another run at Kansas City's throne. With the defense likely in line for a major financial haircut due to their cap situation, Brandon Beane will likely need to spend some of his best picks on that side of the ball.

With the Bills having lucked into an extra second-round pick this year, Buffalo should have no trouble turning their defense into a unit that can beat Mahomes if they follow this 2-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

Buffalo Bills 2-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft

Round 1, Pick 30: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

Harmon recorded five sacks with the Ducks this season after a somewhat uneven career at Michigan State. He may have broken out at the right time, as the 6-5 tackle's combination of raw power and burst off the line is so impressive that Buffalo could be willing to make him Ed Oliver's new running mate.

Buffalo's interior defensive line depth will be ripped apart in free agency, and there aren't too many cost-effective additions that could be made to replace them. Harmon could be a 10-year player if his athletic traits are fully maximized by a strong Bills defensive coaching staff.

Round 2, Pick 56: Azareye'h Thomas, CB, Florida State

With Kaiir Elam looking like an even bigger bust with each passing year, it would be stunning if Buffalo doesn't come out of the first two rounds with a cornerback. Thomas is a bigger player at 6-2 and nearly 200 pounds, and he should keep rising up the draft boards if he blows teams away with his physical tools.

Thomas may not be the best tackler for someone as big as he is, and he only intercepted two passes during his three seasons with the Seminoles, but the physical gifts and excellent zone coverage skills are worth developing. Thomas is a bit raw, but he has Pro Bowl potential right out of the gate.

Round 2, Pick 62: Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas

The Bills will eventually have to kick Von Miller to the curb, making edge rusher a priority once again. Jackson fits the mold Buffalo has often tried to prioritize in their pass rushers, as the 6-7 edge rusher with long arms and solid power could be a versatile nightmare for offensive coaches.

Jackson lacks great athletic ability, as his lack of great speed makes some wonder if he's too slow to be an edge rusher and too awkwardly built for DT work. However, McDermott loves players like Jackson, and the Bills should have no trouble finding a use for him.
