By this point, you've heard all about how the New York Jets were supposed to be a Super Bowl contender once Aaron Rodgers got there and how that hasn't happened. In Rodgers' first year, he was injured after just four snaps and missed the entirety of the 2023 season. In his second year, he's been flat-out awful and the Jets are struggling, clinging to a 3-9 record after Week 13.

This is all comic gold for Buffalo Bills fans who had to hear allllll about how much better the Jets were than them. The Bills were cooked because they traded Stefon Diggs away for peanuts and Josh Allen wasn't going to have anyone to throw to. The defense was washed up after losing some big names and Von Miller not looking worthy of the hefty contract he signed.

Well, fast forward to present day and it's the Bills who have already clinched the AFC East and on their way to the playoffs, somewhere the Jets haven't been since 2011. From start to finish, the Aaron Rodgers experiment has been a complete and total train wreck for the Jets but it's been pure comedy for Bills fans.

The latest bit of drama involves Rodgers potentially not even getting to finish out the season as the Jets starting quarterback. Rodgers was asked about the Jets possibly making a quarterback change and his response was absolutely hilarious.

Well, during his weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers practically begged the Jets not to send him to the bench. "It's been a rough season but I wanna finish strong. I wanna be out there with my guys and battle."

Bills fans will enjoy Aaron Rodgers pleading to keep his starting job

It's going to be sad when the Jets finally end the Aaron Rodgers experiment because this saga has been highly enjoyable for Bills fans. While the Bills continued to remain the cream of the crop in the AFC East, the Jets remained a struggling franchise. A team that was once considered to be a quarterback away proved that's not the case when they still couldn't win games after who they perceived to be the answer came to town.

The hope is that the Jets continue to screw things up at the most important position while the Bills continue to be a winning franchise for the next decade (or hell, for eternity). It'd be even cooler if in the year Jets fans thought their Super Bowl curse would finally be lifted, the Bills got their first Super Bowl victory instead.
