In just two days, we will soon find out how the Buffalo Bills’ 2025 schedule will turn out. After going 13-4 last season in what was supposed to be a “step back” year for the Bills, they are going into 2025 with more confidence and with more talent.

This will be the last season that the Bills will be playing in their current stadium as their new stadium which will be right across the street is set to open for the 2026 season. With all of the history that has happened with their current stadium, this season will mean a lot more as an era is coming to an end.

Buffalo will have some exciting home games this year, which includes them hosting teams like the Ravens, Chiefs, Bengals, and Eagles. As we prepare for the drop of the schedule, Bills fans need to be hoping that these dream scenarios come true come Wednesday night at 8PM EST.

5 dream scenarios for Bills' 2025 schedule

Bills vs. Ravens on Sunday Night Football in Week 1

I mean, come on. There is no better start to the Sunday Night Football schedule than having a Lamar Jackson vs. Josh Allen AFC divisional round rematch from last season. The Bills defeated the Ravens 27-25 to advance to the AFC championship game, but Baltimore did give the Bills a scare in the second half of that matchup.

The Ravens are going to visit the Bills this year and this the perfect start for the NFL for a huge primetime game.

Miami, Tampa Bay, New Orleans visit Buffalo in late November/December

Having two teams from Florida and the lone team from Louisana coming to Western New York in late November/December would give the Bills a huge advantage in the cold weather. Teams up north aren’t built to play well in the scorching heat down in early September, and teams down south don’t perform well in November/December up north.

The Bills are hosting the Dolphins, Buccaneers, and Saints this season. It would be a lot of fun to see these three teams have to play in the cold in the second half of the season.

Bills get bye week in-between Weeks 9-12

There is nothing worse than a team having their bye week too early or too late. Injuries pile up and the bye week means a lot for players to rest and heal up. Putting the Bills’ bye week right in the middle of the season is what they should be hoping for.

Patriots come to Buffalo early on

There’s no denying the fact that the Patriots are going to be the team that gives the Bills a run for their money in the AFC East. Will they be true threats to take the division away? I don’t believe so, but New England has a very good chance at clinching a wild card spot.

The Patriots had themselves a great offseason and it will only be a matter of time before they click on the field. If the Patriots come to Buffalo early on in the season, they will still be in their learning phase when it comes to what works and what doesn’t work for them. Buffalo needs that advantage of them being in that stage of their team.

Plus, having a Stefon Diggs “revenge” game early on would get that hype out of the way early on rather than in October/November.

Bills play on Thursday Night Football in September

While it’s not a guarantee that the Bills will be on Thursday Night Football, if they were to be, let’s just get it out of the way and play it early on in the first month. The Bills had that luck happen to them last season when they traveled down to Miami in Week 2 on Thursday night.

Not only did the Bills get out of the Thursday night schedule early on, but they avoided playing under the sun in Miami in September. Let’s hope for that same luck.
