It came down to the wire, but the Buffalo Bills once again took down the Kansas City Chiefs in a 28-21 win and moved to 6-2 on the year, while the Chiefs fell to 5-4. Buffalo has back-to-back wins going into Week 10 where they will look to once again sweep the Miami Dolphins.

In what was the most anticipated matchup of this week, it was delivered to everyone who watched. The only difference being is that Bills Mafia is celebrating while Chiefs fans are once again experiencing losing this season.

Even though the score looked close, the Bills were bullying the Chiefs for most of the game and they played great complimentary football at the critical moments. There were a lot of positives to take away from this game.

Who stood out for Buffalo in the Week 9 win?

Winners:

QB Josh Allen

Josh Allen put on an MVP performance from this game and it was the ultimate deciding factor in this win. He completed over 88% of his passes for 273 yards and he had 3 total touchdowns. It is these types of games where Allen really steps up a lot and helps bring the Bills across the finish line to get the win. This was a fantastic game for Allen.

S Cole Bishop

The second-year safety out of Utah had himself a day and it was great to see him breakout in the biggest of the year so far for the Bills. He not only led the team in total tackles, but he was a ball magnet, attacking it in the air and having a couple of solid breakups. With Taylor Rapp out for potentially the year, Bishop needed to show that he could step up and he certainly did.

DE Joey Bosa

From start to finish, Joey Bosa was creating all sorts of pressure for the Bills. He had 5 hits on Patrick Mahomes and managed to bring him down once as well. Bosa was the best player for the Bills’ defensive line and he showed up big when the team needed him to.

TE Dalton Kincaid

Dalton Kincaid is really trying to show the Bills that they should be picking up his fifth-year option of his rookie contract next offseason. He got his second 100+ yard performance and he scored Buffalo’s first touchdown of the game. With his performance, he became the second tight end in franchise history with two 100+ yard games in a season, joining Paul Costa.

CB Maxwell Hairston

Making his home debut (after making his official debut last week), Maxwell Hairston showed Bills fans that the team made the right decision to draft him late in the first round back in April. He not only picked off Patrick Mahomes (for his first career interception), but he showed that he can stay with his receiver and not let him break free.

Loser:

K Matt Prater

Matt Prater wouldn’t be on this list if he had converted his one and only field goal attempt late in the 4th quarter to put the game out of reach. While the Bills were up by a touchdown, the Bills had the chance to go up by ten if Prater was able to convert a 52-yard field goal. Instead, he doinked it off the goal post and it gave the Chiefs an extra shot to comeback. Luckily, they failed but Prater still gave them that opportunity.
