Training camp is just right around the corner and the Buffalo Bills will be looking to make yet another run towards the Super Bowl, in hopes of getting past the conference title game. Led by their MVP quarterback in Josh Allen, the Bills are one of the top contending teams and have a legitimate shot at winning their first Super Bowl.

When you think of the Bills, fans usually think of Josh Allen right away as he is by far their best player and it’s not even close. However, there are other players that are not only fan-favorites among Bills Mafia, but they are some of the best on the team as well going into this season.

5 best Bills players (not named Josh Allen) going into 2025

5.) OL Connor McGovern

The anchor of the offensive line once again showed how great he was in pass protection last season after moving from guard to center. Going into a contract year, Connor McGovern should be the next player up for an extension from the Bills.

4.) LB Terrel Bernard

One of the most overlooked players in football has become such an impactful player for the Bills’ defense, and his hard work earned himself a four-year extension this offseason. Terrel Bernard has played at a high level recording 100+ total tackles the last two seasons and taken over as the quarterback of the defense.

3.) OL Dion Dawkins

How can you not have the Schnowman on here? Dion Dawkins has been the blindside protector for Josh Allen since Allen was drafted, and is not only a fan-favorite but also one of the best left tackles in the game. As a four-time Pro Bowler, Dawkins is in his prime still and is going at an elite level.

2.) CB Christian Benford

Christian Benford is finally getting the recognition that he deserves. Not only did he get extended to a four-year deal, but he has become one of the better lockdown corners in the game. Despite being drafted in the 6th round in 2022, Benford has solidified himself as Buffalo’s best corner and a top ten corner in the league no matter what anyone says.

1.) RB James Cook

I understand that the contract drama was and is ridiculous with James Cook, but he’s literally the second best player on offense behind Allen and it’s not close. He’s rushed for back-to-back 1,000+ yard seasons and was tied for the most rushing touchdowns in the league last season. Say what you want about him not being a third-down back. He’s putting up impressive numbers in a running back committee.

Who knows if he will be with Buffalo after 2025. However, we know that he will be taking the field with the Bills this coming season.
