How committed to Keon Coleman is Joe Brady?
One of the most interesting storylines of the offseason is the Joe Brady-Keon Coleman issue. Whereas Coleman didn't fit into the Brady offense in his first two seasons as a Bill, the now-head coach stated proudly that his promotion was "The best thing that happened to Keon". All that, directly following the scapegoating of Coleman provided by both Brandon Beane and Terry Pegula, has left fans confused.
That was 6 months ago, and things are still no clearer. The team admitted to receiving trade calls for Coleman, and shutting them down. Coleman will be a Buffalo Bill for 2026, but to what degree? In a receiving core which proudly features Khalil Shakir and D.J. Moore, as well as solid depth in Joshua Palmer and a fresh draft pick in Skyler Bell, how does he actually fit in?
It is something that has immersed the offseason in mystery. He will be forced to be a part of this team, regardless of his ability to elevate it. The only question is this: Will Joe Brady keep forcing Keon Coleman upon this offense, even to it's detriment?
What does Greg Rousseau do in 2026?
The 2025 season was an up-and-down one for the DE-turned OLB, but mostly down. Of the 16 games he played, he logged 1 total tackle or less in 5 of them. Almost half of his season's total sacks came against the Cleveland Browns in Week 16. He was ineffective despite his athletic traits and elite size.
In 2026, there is hope for a resurgence. As the former-1st round pick changes positions in a new scheme, there's room for him to play his best football, but there are no guarantees. The team drafted T.J. Parker and signed Bradley Chubb, both of whom are already bonafide OLBs expected to play major roles early. Michael Hoecht returns from injury with a similar pedigree.

Will the Bills trust Tommy Doman Jr. as a rookie punter?
It's not as exciting as some of the other questions, but there's a punter battle on this roster. New draftee Tommy Doman Jr. is set to compete with P Mitch Wishnowsky for the starting punter job. However, Wishnowsky was the best punter the Bills have had in nearly a decade. Are they ready to trust a rookie when they already have a competent performer on the roster?
What does the cornerback competition look like?
The Bills selected CB Davison Igbinosun in the second round, confusing fans and critics alike. Alongside him, last season's top Bills draft pick Maxwell Hairston has to fight for the same exact job. The team themselves already stated their awareness that there's an abundance of talent at the position, and depth was a concern pre-draft. That doesn't make things easy.
The duo are the clear contenders for the CB2 job, with some rotation to be expected between the group on a matchup basis. Still, most questions are unanswered, including this: What does this competition actually look like, and how long will it take to have an answer?
