The 2026 NFL Draft has come and gone and there are differing opinions as it relates to the Buffalo Bills’ draft class. When you’ve been on the edge of a Super Bowl for five years, fans tend to have less patience and expect a much more impactful haul out of the draft.

Though the Bills did manage to find some gems, there is already pressure on a few of their picks to make their mark sooner rather than later. Here are the three names that Bills fans will likely have a close eye on throughout 2026.

Bills rookies who have to deliver faster than expected

T.J. Parker, Edge, Clemson (2/35)

The Bills’ top pick in the draft, opinions are divided on the young edge rusher. Some feel like the team got tremendous value and managed to get both him and additional draft capital out of the deal. Others feel underwhelmed with the player they got back.

Coming into the 2026 NFL Draft, Parker was projected as a Top 10-15 talent. He obviously didn’t land there and has inconsistencies in his game to work on. That said, he brings size, speed, and athleticism to an edge group that will garner all the attention this season.

Parker is more than likely a rotational man, at best, for the coming season and fans wanted more than that. Picking late in the first-round of the draft doesn’t usually yield high-end talent. Parker will have to prove his doubters wrong by being effective when he is on the field.

Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State (2/62)

On the surface, Igbinosun seems like a solid pick. He has good size, speed, and the kind of physicality that can be an asset when it comes to press-man coverage. Given the lack of depth at boundary and nickel, his presence will shore up a major issue – one that plagued the Bills last season.

That said, Igbinosun doesn’t necessarily look like a starting piece, either. Add in the fact that he has noteworthy technique and penalty issues, and the red flags are clearly there. The hope is that he can be effective in shorter bursts this season while refining his technique and cutting down on penalties.

Skyler Bell, WR, UConn (4/125)

A major storyline this offseason has been about getting quarterback Josh Allen more help from his receivers. Bell was a major producer at UConn last season, and has all the makings of a diamond in the rough for the Bills.

That said, he slid to the fourth round for a reason. He doesn’t have elite size or athleticism, for starters. There is also the matter of the competition he faced. Can he produce at that kind of level against NFL talent? That remains to be seen.

Beane under the microscope

Though general manager Brandon Beane has a track record of finding gems late in the draft, the rest of his drafting record is spotty. And given how close the Bills have come to the Super Bowl, fans are understandably anxious to find the piece that will put the team over the top. While there don’t appear to be any clearcut starters in this group, it doesn’t mean they can’t make a noticeable impact.
