The Buffalo Bills have been busy over the past few days with a number of trades and selecting six players in the 2023 NFL Draft. The team certainly added some talented players that should be able to help this team try to reach their ultimate goal of winning a Super Bowl this upcoming season.

While the Bills are a better team today than before the NFL Draft, there is another side of the story and it means some players could see their role, or expected role, change drastically for the upcoming season. With that in mind, these are three players who could be viewed as losers based on the moves the Buffalo Bills made in the NFL Draft.

The addition of Dalton Kincaid is going to be great for the Buffalo Bills’ offense as a whole. It gives Josh Allen another big receiving target and allows Ken Dorsey to call different formations that will put pressure on the defense to try and match up against two-tight end sets, which undoubtedly will create mismatches for the Bills.

However, for Dawson Knox specifically the addition of Dalton Kincaid isn’t the best news. The Bills former third round pick just signed a contract extension before the 2022 season and in the past two seasons has had at least 65 targets and 48 receptions with over 500 receiving yards and 15 total receiving touchdowns.

The issue is that Kincaid has a much higher ceiling as a receiver and at best, Knox doesn’t see an increase in targets moving forward and at worst, he loses his spot as the top tight end in this offense. It is not something that will be immediate but the potential for Dawson Knox in this offense is certainly now limited.
