One player that is surprisingly still available is defensive end Frank Clark, who was released by the Kansas City Chiefs this offseason. Clark has been a key part of the Chiefs’ defense with three straight Pro Bowl nominations from 2019 to 2021 and helped Kansas City win two Super Bowls.

He joined the Chiefs after he was traded to them from the Seattle Seahawks, where he was a second round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and played four seasons there. Clark has been a productive player during his career with 58.5 career sacks and 131 QB hits and at 29 years old still has a few years left in his career of playing at a top level.

The Buffalo Bills could look to add another pass rusher to this defense with some questions entering the 2023 season. Their top defensive end is Von Miller, working his way back from a torn ACL, and it remains to be seen if Boogie Basham and A.J. Epenesa can develop into bigger roles for this defense.

The addition of Clark would give them a veteran defensive end that could take some of the workload off Von Miller while also being a leader in the locker room with his playoff and Super Bowl experience.
