Buffalo Bills: Complete list of every pick the Bills own in 2023 NFL Draft
By Ryan Heckman
It’s just about that time, Bills Mafia. The 2023 NFL Draft is upon us this week, and the Buffalo Bills have some work to do.
This is a team that, above all else, has a Super Bowl mindset. Now, that sounds silly when every team should have that goal in mind. But, the Bills are one of the few teams that could actually win it this coming season.
General manager Brandon Beane just needs to do a bit more work on this roster, and that work continues this week with the draft.
Buffalo enters the draft with six picks to work with this year.
A complete list of the Buffalo Bills’ picks in the 2023 NFL Draft
Round 1: Pick 27
Round 2: Pick 59
Round 3: Pick 91
Round 4: Pick 130
Round 5: Pick 137 (via ARI)
Round 6: Pick 205
There has been a lot of talk over the past month about the Bills potentially trading up, or even back, in the first round. Many outlets believe the Bills will make a move out of that no. 27 pick, whether it’s up or down.
If the Bills trade up, we know that Beane would be targeting an offensive lineman or skill player. An interior offensive lineman would make sense, and the two possible targets include Florida guard O’Cyrus Torrence and Northwestern tackle Peter Skoronski, who many project to move to guard as a pro.
If Buffalo moves up for a skill player, they could be targeting the likes of USC’s Jordan Addison, Ohio State’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba or TCU’s Quentin Johnston at the wide receiver position.
Would they really move up for a player like Texas running back Bijan Robinson? That would be a shocker.
Now, a smarter move might be to move back from pick no. 27, just a few selections, and acquire additional capital while still netting a very good player either late in the first or early in the second round.
Whatever the Bills end up doing, it’s clear they need to add a playmaker to this offense and continue to help Josh Allen flourish to the top of his ability.
