Interior Offensive Line

The offensive guard position has been a point of emphasis for the Buffalo Bills this offseason after they brought back Ike Boettger on a one-year deal and then signed free agents Connor McGovern and David Edwards.

However, even with these moves the Buffalo Bills may not be done and could add more talent to this part of the roster. Entering the season, the likely scenario is that Connor McGovern steps in as the team’s starting left guard and the Bills create competition at right guard between Ryan Bates, Boettger, and Edwards with another draft pick in the mix.

The prospects that probably would be at the top of their draft board are ones that could compete at right guard but also be the backup to Mitch Morse. Over the next few years, the team could see changes at both guard and center considering the age and contracts of the starters so adding a player that could address either spot would be a good move.
