Two avenues for the Buffalo Bills to improve yards after the catch this season

The Bills have two clear avenues to improve their YAC, and thus their offensive efficiency and consistency in 2023. The first is to address their offensive line. They will almost certainly add at least one offensive lineman via an early pick in the draft.

While this is not a sexy move, it is necessary and may have as much of an impact as adding a playmaker would. How the Bills go about this may be a little tricky, especially given their current contract situations and the respect that center Mitch Morse has within the Bills’ locker room and throughout the organization. They could draft a center and temporarily move him to another position on the line, or they could draft a tackle to replace Spencer Brown who has consistently struggled to protect QB Josh Allen.

The second avenue, which Bills fans will be much more excited about is adding an explosive playmaker. There will be a myriad of options discussed over the coming weeks as free agency progresses and we head toward the draft. For now, here is a look at two who have been linked to the Bills in conversations and recent mock drafts by experts.
