Buffalo Bills Free Agent Target: D’Onta Foreman

D’Onta Foreman originally was a third round pick by the Houston Texans in 2017 and after two lackluster seasons, he was released by the Texans prior to the 2019 season. He would sit out that season but return to the NFL with the Tennessee Titans and in 2021 after Derrick Henry suffered his foot injury had some good games.

He continued that momentum into last season with the Carolina Panthers and in the final 11 games had 100 or more rushing yards in five of them. Foreman finished the season with just under 1,000 rushing yards with 914 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.

D’Onta Foreman is another big running back similar to the others previously listed and last year picked up 18 first downs on 29 rushing attempts inside three yards. He brings the same kind of skill set that would be a great compliment to James Cook and likely wouldn’t command a big contract and may be able to be signed on just a one-year deal.
