Best NFL Week 18 Bills vs. Patriots Bet
The Bills are only a seven-point favorite against New England, but I think the gap between these teams is much larger than the spread indicates. Thus, I’m backing Buffalo to win and cover.
I’m not a believer in Mac Jones whatsoever. He has only 11 TDs to eight interceptions on the season and while he hasn’t thrown a pick in consecutive games, he has taken seven sacks in that time period. Buffalo’s ferocious defense should make life difficult for him all game long.
Just look at the offenses as a whole. The Bills average the third-most yards per play (6.2) in the NFL, while New England ranks 19th (5.3). Over the last three weeks, the Patriots averaged just 4.9 yards per play.
The Patriots haven’t covered the spread in three straight weeks and the Bills won each of the last three games in this series by a combined score of 104-48. All of those wins came by at least 12 points, so Buffalo should have no problem covering this modest spread.
