Game of the Week: #1 Tennessee @ #3 Georgia, 3:30 PM

Tennessee Prospects: QB Hendon Hooker, OT Darnell Wright, OLB Jeremy Banks, WR Jalin Hyatt, DT Elijah Simmons, WR Cedric Tillman, WR Bru McCoy, DB Trevon Flowers, LB Aaron Beasley, DE Byron Young

Georgia Prospects: DT Jalen Carter, CB Kelee Ringo, OT Broderick Jones, S Christopher Smith II, OC Sedrick Van Pran, EDGE Nolan Smith, S Tykee Smith, TE Darnell Washington, RB Kenny McIntosh, OT Warren McClendon, TE Arik Gilbert, EDGE Robert Beal Jr, RB Daijun Edwards, RB Kendall Minton, QB Stetson Bennett

Talk about a game loaded with prospects. The most anticipated matchup in college football once Tennessee took down the former #1 Alabama. Hendon Hooker has become the Heisman favorite and is one of my favorite options as a potential backup to Josh Allen if the Buffalo Bills were to yearn for a long-term option.

However, I think Hooker has played himself well into the first round and potentially in the top half of the first round. Tennessee has some really solid receiver prospects that the Bills could be looking at. The most interesting in my opinion is Bru McCoy who has featured in the slot this season.

There have been questions about McCoy his whole career because he enrolled at USC, transferred to Texas, and then back to USC, ultimately ending up at Tennessee for his Junior season. McCoy has elite size at 6-3, 220lbs and really has been a reliable target for Hendon Hooker from the slot.

I think that McCoy is still a late-round pick because he has never really shown he can be the main guy for a team but I think as a late-round flyer the Bills could help McCoy develop into a really good NFL receiver.

I think on the Georgia side of things I think that Bills fans should be looking at safety prospects Christoper Smith II and Tykee Smith. Both are similar players to what the Bills currently have at safety and are likely both a part of the top five safeties drafted.

In addition to the safety prospects, I think the Georgia tight ends all have solid NFL futures. Star TE Brock Bowers is not draft-eligible for another year but Arik Gilbert and Darnell Washington are both really well-rounded athletic tight ends who could help the Bills with depth behind Dawson Knox. Washington is more of a blocker at 270lbs and I think could be a really intriguing asset for the Bills team.

The bottom line of this game is that in every play there will be some draft-eligible players making plays. With two of the best teams in college football facing off, this will be a really good test for players looking to put quality reps on tape.
