The Buffalo Bills once again came away with a win in Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers. However, this past week wasn’t the dominating performance they have shown in previous games and now enter a key divisional game against the New York Jets.

The Jets have been a surprise team this year at 5-3 but also are coming off a lackluster performance against the New England Patriots. Looking ahead to this game, these are the top storylines for the Buffalo Bills in Week 9.

Buffalo Bills looking for first win in the AFC East

The Buffalo Bills are 6-1 on the season and their only loss has come in their only divisional game to this point. That was back in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins when the Bills were dealing with a number of injuries on both sides of the ball and came up short by a final score of 21-19.

While this team is talented enough to win the Super Bowl, the first step to reaching that goal is winning the division. That means beating the teams within the division and they have done a good job of that the past few years winning 11 of their past 12 games against AFC East opponents.

If the Buffalo Bills hope to win their third straight AFC East title, they will need to make sure they win these types of games.
