Is this the week Tre’Davious White returns from injury?
One of the most anticipated returns in some time for the Buffalo Bills is the return of former All-Pro cornerback Tre’Davious White. He suffered a torn ACL injury on Thanksgiving last year and has been working his way back.
The hope was that he would be ready for the beginning of the season but was placed on the PUP list at the start of the year. The Bills opened up the 21-day practice window prior to the Kansas City Chiefs game and coming out of the bye this could be the week he returns.
On Monday, defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier was asked about Tre’Davious White and said “doesn’t seem like we’re that far away” according to Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic. This may not seem like much but to this point, the Buffalo Bills have really not given any indication of a possible return.
If White returns this week, it would make sense that the coaching staff will try to limit his workload to work him back slowly. However, it certainly would be great for the former All-Pro on the field against the Green Bay Packers.
