Another great performance from the run defense

The Buffalo Bills pass rush has generated most of the headlines this season, and rightfully so as they look much improved with Von Miller and the development of Greg Rousseau. However, the run defense has also drastically improved and deserves recognition as well.

It would make sense that the Steelers would want to establish the run with a young quarterback but the defense didn’t allow them to do that. They finished the game with only 42 rushing yards and their top running back, Najee Harris, only had 20 yards. He finished the game with an average of 1.8 yards per rushing attempt.

The addition of DaQuan Jones, along with the return of Ed Oliver and Jordan Phillips, played a major role in their success against the run on Sunday.
