At the top of the list has to be cornerback Christian Benford, who went from being a sixth round pick by the Buffalo Bills to moving up to the depth chart to the point he was the starter at cornerback in Week 1.

He would start the first three games of the season and had six total tackles, one tackle for a loss and one pass defended. According to Pro Football Reference, he has been targeted eight times and allowed only four receptions for 50 yards.

Unfortunately, Benford did suffer a broken hand against the Miami Dolphins and missed last week’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. The hope has to be he returns sooner rather than later because he has been a big part of the defense’s success against the pass this year.
