Buffalo Bills offensive line must be prepared for Cameron Heyward

Cameron Heyward is one of the premier defensive players in the NFL. Heyward can wreck a game quickly by forcing the QB off his spot and not allowing a full-field read. The offensive line needs to keep Heyward a bay. Since the threat of T.J Watt isn’t there, most of the focus must go on Cameron Heyward.

Cameron Heyward hasn’t made the impact he was expecting through four games. The presence of T.J Watt allowed a lot of one-on-ones that Heyward isn’t seeing now since Watt has been out. Heyward is still an excellent player without T.J Watt, but the complement of having the best defensive player in the league helps Heyward.

Heyward is also a problem in the run game, clogging holes and making the running backs bounce to the outside. He is an overall great player that is two-dimensional. He can get after you in the passing game and make life difficult when you decide to run the ball.

Ken Dorsey must be wary of Cameron Hayward on every passing play. Getting the ball off Josh Allen’s hand fast will be vital in neutralizing Heywrads impact on the game. Heyward is listed as questionable going into the game, but it’s better to be safe than sorry against a player of his caliber.
