Week 4 grades for the Buffalo Bills against the Baltimore Ravens
Linebackers
It was an incredible game from the Bills’ two starting linebackers, Matt Milano and Tremaine Edmunds, as these two combined for 22 total tackles and four tackles for a loss. Edmunds also almost had a sack on a delayed blitz but Jackson was able to throw it away before he could complete the play.
While Matt Milano is one of the most underrated linebackers in the league, Tremaine Edmunds has made tremendous improvement this year and is playing some of the best football of his career.
Week 4 grade: A
Cornerbacks
Entering Week 4, Lamar Jackson was averaging almost 250 passing yards per game but on Sunday the defense was able to limit him to only 144 passing yards and one touchdown. The performance of Kaiir Elam, Dane Jackson, and Taron Johnson was a big reason for that as these kept Devin Duvernay, Rashod Bateman, and Demarcus Robinson to only nine receptions and 78 receiving yards.
While there were a few mistakes, like the defensive pass interference by Taron Johnson that extended the Ravens’ drive, it was an almost perfect performance. This is great news for a group that has been hit hard by injuries but could be getting big help shortly in the potential return of Tre’Davious White.
