Offensive Line

The Buffalo Bills’ offensive line got Mitch Morse back after he missed last week’s game against the Miami Dolphins and him back on the field helped this group. The offensive line did an excellent job protecting Josh Allen and as he was sacked only once and hit five times.

The run blocking is another story but at this point, it is unlikely to change. The Bills have not been able to create many running lanes and fortunately Ken Dorsey has been to get creative with his play calling and how he keeps defenses honest with the short passes.

Defensive Line

The Buffalo Bills defensive line knew they would be facing a tough challenge this week in trying to contain Lamar Jackson. He is one of the most elusive players in the NFL and he doesn’t need much room to escape the pocket and pick up yards.

While Lamar Jackson had 73 rushing yards and made some plays outside of the pocket, the defensive line as a whole did a good job for the most part. They finished the game with two sacks, with Von Miller adding another to his total.

This group continues to be the strength of this defense and makes their impact felt almost every week.
