Isaiah McKenzie

After an impressive training camp, it was a slow start to the season for Isaiah McKenzie. He didn’t appear to be the full-time slot receiver in the first two games, similar to what Cole Beasley was the past few years.

However, that changed against the Miami Dolphins and he was a big part of this offense to the point where he led all wide receivers in receiving yards with 76. He picked up those yards on seven receptions and averaged over 10 yards per reception.

This is the type of game where McKenzie continues to shed that label of being a gadget player and shows he is a true wide receiver.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t a perfect day for Isaiah McKenzie as he wasn’t able to get out of bounds to give Buffalo a chance at a last second field goal. After the game, he talked about this and what he would do differently but it is hard to blame him too much for that play.
