Safety

The safety duo of Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer has been so steady for so long that the level they play at has become almost expected. However, it is not something that can be overlooked and these two continue to make plays for this defense and bring stability to the secondary by helping the inexperienced cornerbacks, Christian Benford and Kaiir Elam.

On Monday night, it was a typical game from both with Jordan Poyer having four total tackles, one tackle for a loss, and another interception. This is now his second consecutive game with an interception.

Meanwhile, Micah Hyde had two tackles but unfortunately did leave the game early with a neck injury. However, after the game, Jordan Poyer said that he had texted with Hyde and that he said he was okay, according to Dan Fetes.
