4 keys to success for the Buffalo Bills in Week 2 against the Titans
By Theo Bachman
Get the crowd into the game early
New offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey called a fantastic opening drive a week ago that allowed the Bills to jump to a 7-0 lead. Unlike Daboll, who usually came out pass-pass-pass, Dorsey blended the run and pass on the first drive, which ultimately led to the Rams biting on a play-action fake and Gabe Davis beating the defense for a 26-yard touchdown.
Taking an early lead against the Titans is always crucial because it can cause them to lean into a more pass-heavy approach. An early lead will also whip this crowd into a frenzy, allowing the Bills to build even more momentum and potentially overwhelm the Titans.
Superbowl expectations. The first home game of the year. Half day at Orchard Park Schools. Primetime against a conference rival and last year’s #1 seed. This game has all the ingredients to be one of the craziest home crowds in recent memory, but it is on the players and the team to give the Mafia something to cheer about.
